From the Field to the Kitchen

Every Tuesday and Thursday, from 10 AM to 1 PM, during the months of October and November, we get together to cook with our neighbor Fatima Zohra.

In addition, on Friday, October 7, and Tuesday, October 21, we visited the organic farm of LesCabasses in the Parc Agrari del Baix Llobregat, where the vegetables distributed by the Keras Buti cooperative are grown organically and which we use in the cooking workshop.

Today we cooked empanadillas with freshly harvested organic vegetables. We also made chestnuts and sweet potatoes in our fantastic clay oven.

At Les Cabasses, we grow vegetables but also establish links between the countryside and the city and open spaces where, through everyday practices such as cooking, we reflect on how the production of what we consume is organized and what implications it has for socio-ecosystems.
