Tornen les esquelles is a textile art collective created in 2022 with the mission of fostering pro-environmental behaviors within Collserola Natural Park. Using wool from the Collserola region, this collective is dedicated to creating felt pieces through participatory and performative processes. Their work goes beyond the creation of tapestries and sculptures to become a collaborative practice involving artists, shepherds, and the local community. This collaborative initiative encompasses activities ranging from shearing and wool selection to artistic proposals aimed at preserving the local ecosystem and traditional forms of shepherding.
