Next week, from Monday, March 18 to Thursday, March 21, we are organizing a workshop, led by a member of the Free Software Group of Navarra and
LaFundició
, during which we will learn to assemble the
RepRap Rostock
3D printer that we will eventually install in loLABS Bellvitge, in the LaFundició space. The workshop is open and free for everyone; if you want to attend, no special procedure is necessary, but you can contact us to better organize things. The workshop schedule will be from 5 to 9 pm and it is not necessary to have any prior knowledge on the subject, nor to bring tools, just come with the desire to learn and collaborate.
On Wednesday the 20th, around 6 pm, we will have the presence of the
faboratory.org
collective, who will offer a brief presentation of their projects in which they combine artistic practice, technology, and reflection on its social implications.
Initially, we thought of assembling a
RepRap Prusa Mendel
, but in the end, we opted for the Rostock, for various reasons, including that it allows printing larger objects.
