Las lindes
, a research and action group on education, art, and cultural practices launched by Marta de Gonzalo, Pablo Martínez, Publio Pérez Prieto, Cristina Vega, and Virginia Villaplana, was presented. The group defines itself as “a research, debate, archiving, and visibility project for educational thought and practices in relation to critical pedagogies and cultural practices” that will periodically hold ” meetings open to the participation of teachers, student artists, and those interested in education, in which essential texts of critical pedagogies will be worked on; different practices that are being carried out at a national and international level will be presented and analyzed in order to design a cartography on education and cultural practices; experimental materials that can be used as didactic resources in both formal and non-formal educational settings will be disseminated and made accessible; and debates and proposals will be raised regarding new strategies for reformulating educational practices in teaching that uses audiovisual communication.”

Beyond that, as Pablo Martínez says in the presentation, Las lindes is presented as an open project and not as a curricular path, and also as a space for reflection from which to create networks and community among agents who, from different fields, are related to education and art. The blog

has been opened from the project, in which they will make public the materials and the work process of the group.

These types of initiatives are not abundant, so we will follow its development with interest, wishing the experience to be successful. By the way, the videos of the presentation are quite long, but it is worth watching if you are interested in learning more about the starting point of the project as well as the interests and motivations of the participants.
