May 3rd and 4th, at
El Born CCM
, we are organizing the
II Conference of the Network of Memory Communities
. The conference is an opportunity to share the work processes initiated from previously identified perspectives (feminisms, Roma identity, migrations,
landscape, and archives) and to work on their interweaving and articulation with each other. It’s a space to reflect, collectively, on the needs and potential of the Network of Memory Communities; and to think from practice through two workshops: the first on listening and memory, and the second on the past landscapes of Barceloneta, through cooking.
The conference will be a very good opportunity to give continuity to the research processes started, to continue thinking about the organization and operation of the network itself, and to advance in the organization of the
Living Memory Meeting
that will take place in October 2019 at the Born CCM.
We want to highlight the opportunity to participate in the workshops by the international collective
Ultra-red
and
Marina Monsonís
in collaboration with the
Women’s Group of the Casal de Gent Gran Mediterrània.
