This coming Tuesday, November 3, at 8 p.m., the publication will be presented and debated in the “metropolitan chiringuito”
EXIT
D’alló comú permanent. Pedagogical Notebook , edited by
Sitesize
as part of its project
Narracions metropolitanes_Aula permanet
within the exhibition
La comunitat inconfesable
, curated by
Valentín Roma
for the 53rd edition of the
Venice Art Biennale
, within the program of
Eventi collaterali
.
As Sitesize themselves say, “the notebook is a collective exploration that gathers works and reflections around pedagogy, community and the city; a commitment of creative practices to influence the construction of the metropolis as a common experience.” The publication consists of two parts, a first in which the work of rationalist schools, unions and libertarian athenaeums in
Center for Urban Pedagogy
of New York,
Aulabierta
in Granada and the Escola da Cidade in São Paulo, is
Open-roulotte, the project that we have been developing for a year now with the collaboration of various groups and agents of the neighborhood of Can Mas, among which is especially the school El Martinet.
So there we will be, presenting our proposal, and participating with Pere Solà, Javier Rodrigo and Valentín Roma in the debate, which we imagine will focus on the possibility that Sitesize points to of an “activación pedagógica, constructive intervention and social cohesion in the city” through these creative practices.
You can download here the PDF of the Pedagogical Notebook, where you will find, in Spanish and English, the text about Open-roulotte, entitled
An infrastructure of events for a school that explodes
