This is the video documenting the drift we organized last summer with the association
CandeL’Hart
for the Bellvitge Festival, to which we invited the anthropologist
Manuel Delgado
to join us. During the drift, Manuel Delgado addresses, on the ground, different social and political aspects of the festival and culture, as well as the specific architecture and urban planning of the block neighborhoods that, like Bellvitge in L’Hospitalet, were built on the periphery of Barcelona during the 60s.
One of the most serious flaws of the video is… that the festival is hardly seen at any point, in fact, it’s not seen at all! and instead Manuel Delgado appears talking all the time… Anyway, it’s the material we had. It’s there for anyone who might be interested.
