More little books: today the second publication of
Transducers
is presented. It will be at 12:00h in the Palace of the Counts of Gabia (Granada).
This second publication, edited by the José Guerrero Art Center like the first, maintains the lines of study of the Transducers project on collective pedagogies, but focusing on the context of the Spanish state.
The book includes “thirteen networking initiatives that flexibly address artistic practice, political intervention, and education based on very diverse typologies and geographical contexts,” according to its editors, Antonio Collados and
Javier Rodrigo
, whom we take this opportunity to wish success in today’s presentation.
Among the initiatives that appear in the book is
Zona Intrusa 3D
, the “artistic (un)education” program that we devised with Oriol Fontdevila in several institutes in Mataró during the 2010-2011 academic year, commissioned by the Municipal Institute of Cultural Action of the city and with the collaboration of the center for creation and contemporary thought
Can Xalant
(one of the latest victims of the cuts in culture about which, precisely Oriol Fontdevila, recently published this accurate article in
a*desk
-which was later complemented by this other by
Jorge Luis Marzo
-).
The publication includes essays by Carmen Mörsch, Judit Vidiella and an interview with Enric Vilaplana and Rosa Artigal, in addition to an essay by the editors themselves.
