Earth and Water: Together We Build an Irrigation System

Over four days, we will learn to model a clay pot. At the same time, we will learn about this ancient irrigation system, which aims to harness water efficiently and sustainably, and with which we will experiment in Les Cabasses, in the Parc Agrari del Baix Llobregat. In addition, through hand-modeling clay, we will connect with the history of ceramics in human communities.

We invite you to collaborate in the collective construction of this irrigation system, creating a vessel that is also an organ and a container to be deposited in the earth. We will be accompanied by Jocelyn Muñoz Báez, visual artist, researcher and cultural producer.
