The time has come; although in somewhat precarious conditions, on February 28 and 29 and March 1 and 2 we are finally organizing the
Customization Workshop
for the modules that will form the future headquarters of the EspaiDer3* association, formed by a group of young people in Esplugues de Llobregat following their participation in projecte3*. Many things have happened during the last year, as we have been saying in this same blog, and this may be a turning point in the development of the project, which has had to adapt its methodology and objectives to the capricious whims of fate (and the public administration). But now is not the time to complain! María García, Carlos Gor, Ppda (the entire Catarqsis collective) and Santi Cirugeda will be in Barcelona to coordinate the module tuning tasks. We hope to have the participation of many friends and people interested in the project, so we plan to spend four days of intense work and also good feelings.

The proposed design for tuning the modules consists of a hard core (the containers) and a variable superimposed structure to which different elements can be added. This structure, which should be easy to handle and assemble, will be composed of iron tubes with different profiles joined by threaded rods and covered totally or partially with canvas. The structure, with an organic appearance, must be able to adapt to the environment where it is installed.
The workshop will be led by Catarqsis and Santi Cirugeda, and aims to complete the first phase of customization (construction of a transformable and retractable superimposed structure). Although it is subject to changes that may occur along the way, the program for the four days of the workshop is as follows:

IMPORTANT NOTE::::
_If you have tools that may be useful in the customization of EspaiDer 3* and you don’t mind sharing them, bring them (we also invite you to contribute and share your cognitive tools ;)) Cordless drills, fixed or adjustable wrenches are especially needed.
_If you can’t come all 4 days, or all the hours of the workshop, it doesn’t matter -of course- any contribution will be welcome.
