‘Subplots. Radical pedagogies, politics and gender narratives’
16.6.09

The info reached us a bit late, but we’re still in time to publish it before it expires: Within the seventeenth edition of the

Barcelona International Women’s Film Festival

, you can watch this week the section Subplots. Radical pedagogies, politics and gender narratives , by Montse Romaní and Virginia Villaplana:

The chosen titles reflect on the creation of images as political tools in educational processes. They consider how a critical awareness and attitude is created in the normalization of the spectacle culture and its ways of modeling behaviors and instituting social values” .

The screenings will take place this Tuesday, June 16 at 7:30 p.m. and Friday, June 19 at 5:30 p.m., at the
Filmoteca de Catalunya
. Both today and Friday, Montse and Virginia announce their presence in the room, which we imagine is an invitation to dialogue after the screenings. You can check the detailed program in the link.
