We’re Still Doing Things with Wool!
11.11.25

Last Wednesday, November 5th, we started working with the wool sheared from Manolo’s flock in late spring. We opened the sacks and began the first carding processes. From this initial activity, we have opened a space for conversation, experimentation, and shared imagination around the aesthetic and material possibilities of wool.

Livestock farming has played a key role in the health of ecosystems and in the sustainable management of territories. Even so, its low profitability within the criteria of the capitalist economy makes viability difficult.
Can we imagine other forms of economy that make survival possible?
How could these economies connect with new imaginaries about the landscapes of Baix Llobregat?
These are some of the questions that drive this process.
We will continue to seek answers – and formulate new ones – in the Material Laboratory of Laurel 31.

Schedule and location:
Every Wednesday in November, from 5 to 8 p.m.
Laurel 31, La Florida
