S-O-S Project (Documenta 12 Magazines II)

We have mentioned a couple of times in previous posts (this one and this one) a research project on self-organized educational practices. s-o-s project is, as its creators say, “an attempt to crack the codes of knowledge production.” The project, which starts from the TkH center -Teorija koja Hoda (Theory that Walks)-. s-o-s project is conceived as an open research system as well as practical and theoretical workshops with the aim of developing post-pedagogical practices in the fields of art theory, cultural studies and activism, and educational methods. To carry out this research, a group has been formed with the aim of reflecting, modifying and re-appropriating (crack) existing concepts and developing new concepts that could be used in new methodologies of (self)education and knowledge production. At one point in the project, it is planned to open it to other participants and form an “experimental class” to test the methodologies.

Interestingly, ThK is another (a moment ago we were talking about Zehar) of the collectives selected by Documenta 12 for its hyper-magazine project. In the digital edition of the magazine you can find other articles/texts from the collective such as Epistemology of Teachin Art by Miško Šuvaković or Teaching Cultural Cooperation in Transcultural Europe by Milena Dragićević Šešić.
