We are screening Une île et une nuit, a film collectively recorded in 16mm in the Barrio Libre de Lentillères (Dijon), a community that for fifteen years has occupied agricultural land to prevent an “ecoquartier” and build another way of life, based on self-management and community farming.
From their experience comes this dreamlike piece, made in 11 languages (without subtitles), which invites us to imagine new languages, dreams, and communities.
Members of the collective that made the film will be joining us:
It is a film that is not distributed, that only goes where they take it, where it wants to be received and, above all, where there is time to share afterwards. Another way of doing things
