In this initiative—driven by Catalan language teacher Gerard de Josep and inspired by the work of folklorist Palmira Jaquetti—students interviewed older women in the neighbourhood to write their life stories and collect songs they remembered from their childhood. This was a process in which many people and local organisations collaborated, such as CCC La Florida, Creu Roja LH, La Florida s’Aveina, Laurel, and the Tecla Sala Library. As always, we’re really happy to collaborate with Gerard and Institut Eduard Fontserè.
