We have the impression that we were among the few who took the concept of ‘vacation’ seriously, and upon our return, we found that the noosphere (which includes a part of the blogosphere) has not stopped. We now feel obligated to redouble our efforts to catch up with everyone… So, as soon as she arrived, Mariló set off like an intrepid reporter to Palma de Mallorca to cover the second edition of the Dialogical Practices seminar organized by Es Baluard, the museum of modern and contemporary art in Palma, a seminar and workshop coordinated by Javier Rodrigo and Aída Sánchez de Serdio.
Roughly speaking, the seminar-workshop, subtitled Collaborations of artists, communities and museums, aims to reflect on collaborative practices and community work in museums in relation to critical pedagogies. One of the strengths of the seminar is its methodology, which attempts to overcome the usual format of this type of event in favor of a model more focused on the profile and interests of the attendees themselves. This seems to want to overcome the obvious contradiction that would be involved in talking about dialogical practices using the tone and predisposition of a master class, common in cycles of conferences, seminars and so on… let’s see how it goes.
