During the meeting L’H CAP A ON? Collective debate on cultural policies and the cultural district project in L’Hospitalet which took place on February 13 in the Salamina space, it was collectively decided to organize a second meeting with the specific purpose of getting to know the city’s cultural and educational agents and initiatives better.
From the driving group of this second meeting, we thought that it may be useful to draw a map on which to place these agents and initiatives, where the links that unite them or the limits that separate them appear at the same time, as well as their concerns and what affects them in some way.
This proposal responds to the shared feeling during the previous debate that the cultural fabric of L’Hospitalet is too weak because there is not enough knowledge among the people and groups that, in one way or another, participate. We hope that this map can be a useful tool to think about culture and its relations with the territory in L’Hospitalet, and in general that these meetings serve to initiate processes of debate and collective organization.
If you are interested, we propose meeting on next Friday, March 20 at 6:30 p.m. at the
Institut Bellvitge
, in the Avda. América, 99, Bellvitge (L’Hospitalet) ; the proposed format for drawing our map would consist of a first part of brief presentations, followed by group work and a final collective debate. As on the previous occasion, we will share some documents that we believe may be useful and we invite you to share others that you think may be of interest.
This meeting is open to anyone or group that is interested in the proposal, for this reason we encourage you to share this entry with whoever you think is appropriate. Likewise, the driving group of the meetings, formed by several people and groups from L’Hospitalet, is open to anyone who wants to join, if this is your case, do not hesitate to contact us.
We are waiting for you! And if you can, confirm your attendance, so we can better organize the meeting 😉 You can also sign up for the Facebook event here Thank you!
