«La Quebradilla» and «Tu tijera en mi oreja»
9.12.25

This Friday we will be screening ‘La Quebradilla’ and ‘Tú tijera en mí oreja’, two pieces that address memory, territory, and the ways in which bodies respond to the fractures of the present.

‘La Quebradilla’ is an audiovisual story that explores a territory marked by transformation and extractive pressure. The piece observes the material and symbolic layers of a wounded landscape, revealing the tensions between memories, affections, and colonizing processes.

‘Tú tijera en mí orea’ proposes an intimate look at the family and emotional violence that often goes unnoticed. Through gestures and voices, the piece reconstructs a fragmented memory and shows how personal narratives can be transformed into spaces of resistance.
