The KRAX conference on social creativity in urban conflicts will be held in Barcelona from Wednesday, April 25 to Saturday, April 28. As they themselves say, “KRAX is a project that investigates and connects the social creativity present in urban conflicts at the local level, in the city of Barcelona, and at the international level. It is a reflection on how urban planning generates urban dissonances because it too often obeys an economic perspective, neglecting the social aspect.” A project in which these conferences constitute “a first meeting of active initiatives in neighborhoods of different cities that are undergoing urban changes.” The KRAX Conference program consists of debates, workshops, presentations of the invited initiatives, guided tours of the neighborhoods and meetings with local initiatives, and a Documentation Center (the KRAX Zone) with the material compiled during the investigation. In addition to all this, in a “zone B” of documentation you can consult information about some proposals and initiatives that are not part of the investigation carried out by the organization, but that have come to their knowledge in recent weeks, such as projecte3* which, as you know, is the architectural and curricular intervention project that we are carrying out with the collaboration of the students of the IES Joanot Martorell, from the Catarqsis collective and from Santiago Cirugeda in Esplugues de Llobregat.
