For the third consecutive year, the
KRAX
collective is organizing the “urban creativity meeting in the face of the city’s transformation” at the
KRAX Conference
, which this year is subtitled Out of control. Power to transform, power to create .
The conference aims to “visualize and connect different autonomous initiatives that develop new formats of organization and participation (political, cultural, economic…) in the city.”
In this third edition, the organization wanted to give special importance to the action of “collecting, connecting and informing horizontally these new visions and practices about the city, culture and politics, to share, empower and enhance the work of these autonomous initiatives.” Part of this knowledge-building work will be done during work sessions and debates prior to the presentations of the invited collectives, which are:

. We will be participating in one of those tables, under the heading A potential glossary, next Thursday. The session aims to “build a relationship of critical terms from key concepts such as self-organization, autonomy, self-institution… This compilation of terms would be structured from their translations in the practices and tools applied in the activities of the various collectives: the glossary will thus be arranged in a network of lines of conceptual work, tools and practices, together with their strengths and weaknesses. The table will discuss in detail some of the practices and work with local counterparts to glimpse the effectiveness of the practices and the ways in which we construct the terms of work.”
