KRAX Conference 2008
29.3.08

If two days ago we were talking here about cultural spaces and autonomy, it seems that today’s news is very relevant. And from April 23 to 26, the second edition of the KRAX Conference will take place, with the intention of “[focusing on, and bringing together] experiences of autonomous cultural spaces” that the
City Mine(d)
, organizers of the event, define as ” public spaces that support citizen creativity and where debates are generated on the management of the city. They are autonomous cultural production initiatives, with new models of (self)management and with a coherent discourse in the face of urban changes. ” For some unclear reason, we have the impression that this year the conference is arousing quite a bit of expectation…

The program includes “debates, workshops, presentations of the invited initiatives, guided tours, meetings with local initiatives and a Documentation Center (KRAX Cargo) with the material compiled during the investigation” and you have it complete here.
