Guifi.Net in the Physical Space of LaFundició

Tomorrow, Thursday, September 25, from 6:30 PM to 7 PM, in the Chill Out room of the Bellvitge Library, we are organizing an informative talk about
guifi.net
, the common, free, open, and neutral telecommunications network. In addition, on Saturday, September 27, from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PMwe will install a network node at number 11 Prat Street, where the
physical space of LaFundició
is located, with which we will connect to the network and give connection to other users. The day is planned as a practical workshop open to anyone who wants to learn how to install a network node.

guifi.net is one of the largest free telecommunications networks in the world, based on wireless links with equipment that uses the radioelectric space, although it also has several sections of optical fiber. Most of its nodes are located in Valencia and Catalonia, where it originated.
