And also this week, from July 6 to 13, 2014, we will be in the Barcelona metropolitan area at the annual meeting of the
Collective Architectures
network. The meetings of the network, in which we have participated more or less intensely since 2007, when it began to take shape, aim to strengthen it and “consolidate ways of making the city different from the official ones: from the people and for the people.”
In 2014, the meeting is held in Barcelona under the slogan
The city is not for sale, it is
lived, and it will be presented tomorrow at the Nau Ivanow starting at 6:00 PM.
The meeting will be structured around 7 zones of the metropolitan area of the city, between the Llobregat and Besòs rivers.
We have included the workshop of
Collective Amnesia
on the memory of shantytowns on the mountain of Montjuïc and a meeting in the lot Muns/Uva, a vacant lot located in the neighborhood of Santa Eulàlia and that the Ajuntament de L’Hospitalet has ceded to citizen management. We will report on this more extensively shortly 🙂
