After many days of inactivity, today we are resuming the “blogging march” by echoing the series of conferences that CaixaForum is programming during the months of January and February, coordinated by Ignasi Vila and generically titled The Educational Challenges of the 21st Century. The news is that tomorrow, January 22, at 7:30 PM, César Coll, also known as “the father of the reform” and one of the most fervent champions of constructivism and the psychologization of education (that is, being Manichean, one of the bad guys) and responsible for its introduction into the Spanish educational system, precisely through the socialist educational reform of the 90s, the LOGSE, will be speaking. Seeing the success and enthusiasm that the inaugural conference by Canadian psychologist David Olson “The Importance of Literacy in Cognitive Processes” aroused among the teaching staff, it will not be surprising that the CaixaForum auditorium will be packed tomorrow. We’ll see.
