‘Expanded Education,’ the Book
18.10.12

Expanded education

It’s here, it’s arrived. A few days ago,
Expanded Education, the book
was published, taking as its starting point the 2009 edition of the ZEMOS98 Festival, which was dedicated to thinking “together with activists, teachers, and people from the artistic field and social innovation, about those places, methodologies, and processes that, outside of formal education, express other forms of knowledge.”

The publication, subtitled Education can happen anytime, anywhere, just like the festival edition that originated it, is divided into a part (the bulk of the book) that includes numerous essays on the subject, and is accompanied by interviews, chronicles of the workshops held in 2009, and fact sheets of the projects that were also presented then, among which is

Open-roulotte

.

The book can be purchased (soon) in the
La Fuga
bookstores (Seville) and
Traficantes de Sueños
(Madrid), for the moment. You can also download it in PDF format from the
ZEMOS98
page.

All this will be presented on October 25th at 9 p.m. at La Fuga and on the
30th at the Espacio de Fundación Telefónica in Madrid
.

Our congratulations to the ZEMOS98 team for the work they have put into the book and for overcoming the difficulties they have encountered during its publication.
