The people at
YP
have been working for a whole year on research into innovation in the cultural sector. One of the reasons for undertaking this task is, in the words of its authors, the increasing disparity, multiplicity, and frequency of use of the concept of innovation applied to the sphere of culture. The purpose of the research is to place the reader in front of what they consider is already a new economic reality of culture.

The truth is that the term innovation has also taken root in the educational sphere, and it also happens that we don’t all seem to be talking about the same thing, or with the same intention, when we refer to this concept; this, added to policies that promote the close link between the educational system and that of production – through, among other things, research, development and innovation – suggests to us that perhaps a critical approach to the genealogy and uses of the concept in this field would be pertinent…

The fact is that all those who can’t be bothered to download the 130 pages of the pdf document but want to know what the story is about, can go tomorrow November 6 at 7 p.m. to the CCCB where the YP will be in person to tell you about it (within the framework of the
R+D+i
talk series).
