‘BUEN VIVIR: How much is life worth?’: Meeting with collectives from Hamburg
15.6.15

fux-eg

Tomorrow, Tuesday, June 16, Frank John will visit the physical space of LaFundició, representing
Fux-eg
and Patricia Wedler and Christina Röthig, representing
PlanBude
. Two interesting citizen initiatives that have three things in common: 1. they are being developed in the city of Hamburg, 2. they are committed to the collective management of the city—as opposed to its privatization—and 3. they have culture as one of their main areas of work.

We can say that both projects arise in contexts and respond to needs that resonate in the city of L’Hospitalet, where the creation of the future Cultural District raises problems similar to those faced by these groups. The challenge is to see if initiatives can arise in our city that respond with intelligence and social creativity to these problems.

This visit is part of the

BUEN VIVIR: How much is life worth?

program organized by the Goethe-Institut Barcelona, and you can consult its program on their website. Of course, the meeting in our space will be open to all those who want to join us, learn about the Fux-eg and PlanBude projects, and chat about how to organize ourselves to live a life worth living. The meeting at LaFundició is scheduled to start at 4:30 PM.
