Today, the Conference of Ministers of Education is being held in London to advance the reform process in the European Higher Education Area. The event is part of the European Commission’s strategy to promote collaboration between higher education institutions and increase the mobility of students and researchers across the countries that have signed the Bologna agreement.
The truth is that the Bologna agreement has been devised and it seems that it will be gradually implemented without too much criticism or resistance from the university community; however, the agreement implies an ideology that is by no means neutral, as one might imagine.
