The day is approaching! On Sunday, February 15, starting at 12 PM, we will play the third scene of Bellvitge live role-playing, which is titled
Street Dogs
. You are all invited to play!

As we have been announcing in recent months, Street Dogs is set in Bellvitge in the early 80s. The plot of the scene features the neighborhood cinema, the movie Street Dogs, life on the street, the quinquis, police plots, and the cultural and social life of the neighborhood during those years of newly released democracy.

Back then, one of the centers of activity in Bellvitge was the Aula de Cultura, a space initially occupied by the residents in the late 70s, whose management was later assumed by the City Council. In that context, Carnival, a tradition that was banned during the dictatorship, represented an act of liberation and festive occupation of public space. That is why we will rebuild the Carnival of 1981, with a pitched battle between troupes and a final popular paella included!

And remember, if you come dressed up from the 80s, even better: tight bell-bottom pants, shirts and blouses with impossible prints, leather and denim jackets, and bulky hair with a middle part 😉

If you want to know more about the purposes of this scene, a few weeks ago we wrote this on this very blog.
