Based on cultural practices, Des dels blocs has generated a favorable context for the creation of self-representations, precisely in a neighborhood that suffers from stigmatizing media attention. But beyond this, Des dels blocs has become a space open to the neighborhood, where people can experiment, organize, and reflect collectively and critically on the realities of the neighborhood. <\/p>\n\n

In the space generated with Des dels blocs in the Ana D\u00edaz Rico Municipal Center, community ties and networks have been strengthened, and spaces for representation and action on the living conditions in the Florida Blocks have been built, which have been appropriated by the residents themselves.<\/p>\n

From the blocks (Desde los bloques) is a collective creation process of stories, representations, and knowledge about a specific territory of L’Hospitalet: the Florida Blocks, initiated in 2015; and at the same time, the creation of situations and spaces for meeting and dialogue between the diverse groups that inhabit it.
