Last summer, we sheared Manolo’s sheep in Sant Feliu, very close to the Llobregat riverbed, and washed the wool in the Les Cabasses irrigation canals.<\/p>\n\n
Now, throughout November, every Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM, accompanied by Tornen les esquelles<\/em>, we propose to do things with the wool: carding it, felting it, and investigating what applications, what material and aesthetic expressions it can have.<\/p>\n\n We will do it in the Material Laboratory of Laurel 31<\/strong>, a new community space in La Florida promoted by LaFundici\u00f3<\/strong>, which already hosts the Econom\u00edas Silvestres<\/em> project around textiles, coordinated by Mujeres Palante<\/strong> with the support of La Florida s\u2019ave\u00efna<\/strong> -the urban communality of La Florida-, and La Marmita<\/strong>, a community kitchen integrated into the agroecological consumer cooperative Keras Buti<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n Laurel 31<\/strong> joins the Pomezia<\/strong> space as a communal and neighborhood infrastructure in La Florida from which to promote, sustain, and grow the community networks that make a good life possible for all.<\/p>\n\n <\/p>\n\n Tornenlesesquelles, lafloridasaveina, kerasbuti, laurel31economiessilvestres<\/p>\n\n
