We repeat the international summer residency in the physical space of LaFundici\u00f3 at Prado 11<\/strong>.<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
In the summer of 2017<\/strong> we received Daniela Pizarro<\/strong>, from the Chilean collective
\n Nido Textil<\/strong>
\n<\/a>, and the filmmaking collective
\n Diarios de Guerra<\/strong>
\n<\/a> (formed by Mar\u00eda Contreras<\/strong> and Daniel Ortega<\/strong>, also from Chile<\/strong>).<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
This year Azul Blaseotto<\/strong>, artist and member of
\n La D\u00e1rsena<\/strong>
\n<\/a>, a platform for thought and artistic interaction located in Buenos Aires<\/strong> (Argentina<\/strong>), will join us for a few days. <\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
Between July 16 and 20<\/strong>, Azul proposes that we go to the beach and create a collective fanzine.
\n Vamos a la playa<\/strong>
\n<\/em> is the title of her latest graphic novel, in which she reflects on \u00abthe infrastructures, social formations, political strategies and economic models that construct that territory and landscape today called \u201cbeach\u201d<\/em>\u00bb. In our context, the beach is inextricably linked to the tourism industry, but in the specific context of L’Hospitalet<\/strong>, thinking about the beach takes us back to the memory of a loss: the beach that L’Hospitalet sold<\/a> to the city of Barcelona almost 100 years ago and that today is the Zona Franca, a beach where many residents of the shantytown neighborhoods of Gran Via Sur spent their days of leisure. <\/div>\n
