On February 22nd and 23rd<\/strong> we are organizing
\n What kind of playground do we want?<\/em>
\n<\/strong> a conference to reflect together on school playgrounds and, ultimately, to think about how to transform them: What is and what could be the function of outdoor spaces in schools? What role do boys and girls have in the design and construction of their play spaces? Should playgrounds be a public space? And vice versa, can public spaces be playgrounds? <\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
We will do so accompanied by the educational communities of the
\n Escola Prat de la Manta<\/strong>
\n<\/a> and the
\n Institut Escola Gornal<\/strong>
\n<\/a>, with whom we have started a process of reflection and work on the configuration of the outdoor spaces of their centers.<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
We will also have the invaluable contribution of people and groups with experience in participatory design and construction processes of children’s play spaces such as
\n Basurama<\/strong>
\n<\/a>,
\n Makea<\/strong>
\n<\/a>,
\n Lemur<\/strong>
\n<\/a> or
\n Cristina Fraser<\/strong>
\n<\/a>.<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
During the conference there will be several workshops aimed at families and children. For this reason, it is especially important that you register for the conference (which is completely free) if you are coming with children. Just send an email<\/strong> to

\n<\/a> and indicate if you will stay for lunch on Saturday, February 23 and how many people, in order to organize the logistics. <\/div>\n
