LaFundici\u00f3’s workshops at the Bellvitge-el Gornal Cultural Center<\/strong> are conceived as spaces for experimentation and community cultural creation around various media and artistic practices: radio, community theater, photography, documentary video, screen printing, comics and illustration, painting, cooking and dance, and the range of workshops is open to proposals from the participants.<\/p>\n

The workshops will be spaces for collective research and cultural creation that establish relationships with the social environment and generate forms of self-organization and self-education in the community.<\/p>\n

We want to establish links between the cultural center’s workshops and LaFundici\u00f3’s new space<\/a> in the same Bellvitge neighborhood so that the groups and projects that may arise from the workshops find a place to develop their practices, settle down, and cooperate with other groups and entities in the neighborhood.<\/p>\n

The team of professionals who will coordinate the workshops is made up of the members of LaFundici\u00f3 (Maril\u00f3 Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>, Francisco Rubio<\/strong> and Luca Rullo<\/strong>) in addition to
\n Carolina Astudillo<\/strong>
\n<\/a>,
\n Jess Espinoza<\/strong>
\n<\/a>,
\n Jordi Mas<\/strong>
\n<\/a>,
\n Marcos Prior<\/strong>
\n<\/a> and Mar\u00eda Zapata<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Carolina is a documentary filmmaker and journalist and has taught classes at
\n La casa del cine<\/strong>
\n<\/a>, and will coordinate the creative documentary workshop\/space from a perspective that questions the borders between documentary storytelling and fiction, as well as the assimilation of the documentary genre with journalism. Jess Espinoza is an artist, seamstress and social activist behind the lines, and will teach a handmade screen printing workshop in which not only will this technique be taught, but we will also learn how to build our homemade and portable screen printing laboratory in the purest DIY\/DIWO style. Jordi Mas is a dancer, researcher and thinker committed to lifestyles that bring together dance, health and community action; starting from the therapeutic virtues of motor skills, Jordi proposes an investigation into one’s own body and its relationship with space and landscape. Marcos Prior is one of the most relevant comic authors of the current scene, among other things for investigating and expanding the discursive possibilities of the ‘comic’ medium, and Mar\u00eda Zapata is a specialist in community theater and currently directs the theater group Imagina<\/strong> and co-directs the theater group of Nikosia<\/strong>. Our colleague at LaFundici\u00f3, Luca Rullo<\/strong>, will coordinate the radio workshop\/sound creation space and is, among many other things, one of those crazy about sound, Maril\u00f3<\/strong> and Francisco<\/strong> (myself) will coordinate the photography and painting workshops, for which we will have the participation of the association
\n CandeL’Hart<\/strong>
\n<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The price of the workshops is \u20ac20 per month for 2 hours of workshop per week and \u20ac35 per month for the painting workshop if you receive 4 hours per week. The price of the workshops does not include materials. The price of the children’s painting workshop is \u20ac25 per month for 2 hours per week and does include materials. <\/p>\n
