Filmed in 1978 (13 years after the start of construction of the apartment blocks that formed the neighborhood), <i>\u00a1Bellvitge, Bellvitge!<\/i> has the distinction of being a community documentary video educational project, produced by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.juliansite.com\"><b>Juli\u00e1n \u00c1lvarez<\/b> and<\/a> students from the <b>Institut INB-3<\/b>. <\/p>\n<p>On Juli\u00e1n \u00c1lvarez&#8217;s <b>Vimeo<\/b> channel, you can see a montage (which we embed below) with some fragments of the original footage, which had an approximate duration of 45 minutes. The whereabouts of the original recordings and editing is not clear, although supposedly there is at least one copy in the Arxiu Municipal de L&#8217;Hospitalet. It would be necessary to carry out an archaeological work that would ensure the recovery, conservation and dissemination of this document.  <\/p>\n<p><i>\u00a1Bellvitge, Bellvitge! <\/i>is articulated from the comments of the municipal architect <b>Cosme Grifell<\/b> and <b>R. Fern\u00e1ndez Jurado<\/b> (one of the first inhabitants of Bellvitge). The documentary includes two performances by the duo <b>Alma Flamenca<\/b>, formed by the singer <a href=\"http:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ginesa_Ortega\"><br \/>\n  <b>Ginesa Ortega <\/b><br \/>\n<\/a>(who was then 12 years old) and the guitarist <a href=\"http:\/\/pedrosierra2.webnode.es\"><br \/>\n  <b>Pedro Sierra<\/b><br \/>\n<\/a> (who was even younger than Ginesa Ortega and who was credited as <b>Manolito<\/b>, as the video&#8217;s authors did not note his real name). <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/fundaciomiro-bcn.org\/fjm\/arqueologia-preventiva\/wp-content\/uploads\/alma_flamenca.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n  <i>Alma Flamenca<\/i><br \/>\n<\/strong> is also the title of the reconstruction of these scenes, which we organized on the occasion of the inauguration of Espai 14-15, in collaboration with the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Feceal_H\"><br \/>\n  <b>Federaci\u00f3n Coordinadora de Entidades Andaluzas en L&#8217;Hospitalet<\/b><br \/>\n<\/a>, with the participation of&nbsp;<b>Carolina Torres<\/b> on vocals and&nbsp;<b>Jos\u00e9 Andr\u00e9s<\/b> on guitar; a reconstruction that was documented in the video that you can see above these lines.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/12972293?portrait=0&amp;color=ff9933\" width=\"605\" height=\"454\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/vimeo.com\/12972293\">\u00a1BELLVITGE, BELLVITGE!<\/a> from <a href=\"http:\/\/vimeo.com\/zapatodeartista\">Juli\u00e1n Alvarez<\/a> on <a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\">Vimeo<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":1001,"template":"","categories":[],"class_list":["post-5432","noticia","type-noticia","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/lafundicio.net\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/noticia\/5432","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/lafundicio.net\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/noticia"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/lafundicio.net\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/noticia"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/lafundicio.net\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/1001"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/lafundicio.net\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=5432"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/lafundicio.net\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=5432"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
