{"id":5262,"date":"2007-12-24T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2007-12-24T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lafundicio.net\/noticia\/arte-para-el-cambio\/"},"modified":"2007-12-24T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2007-12-24T00:00:00","slug":"arte-para-el-cambio","status":"publish","type":"noticia","link":"https:\/\/lafundicio.net\/ca\/noticia\/arte-para-el-cambio\/","title":{"rendered":"Art per al canvi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align:center;\">\nVista de l&#8217;exposici\u00f3 <em>Art for change<\/em> a SPACE (2006)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Dissabte passat vam assistir a <strong>Calaf<\/strong> a la inauguraci\u00f3 de la primera part de l'&#8221;exposici\u00f3 expandida&#8221; <em>Local | Visitant<\/em>, que s&#8217;emmarca dins del projecte <a href=\"http:\/\/www.idensitat.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Idensitat<\/a>. Es va refor\u00e7ar la nostra idea paranoica que hordes d&#8217;artistes socialment sensibilitzats, fugint de les seves torres d&#8217;ivori, estan prenent els carrers i utilitzant el &#8220;<g id=\"gid_3\">corpus<\/g> social&#8221; com a material pl\u00e0stic per a les seves obres d&#8217;art. Per descomptat, qui estigui lliure de culpa que llanci la primera pedra, aix\u00ed que no sense \u00e0nim autocr\u00edtic i per ganes de polemitzar recuperem avui <a href=\"http:\/\/www.metamute.org\/en\/Mistaken-As-Red\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">aquest text<\/a> de <strong>Peter Suchin<\/strong> aparegut fa alguns mesos a la revista <a href=\"http:\/\/www.metamute.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mute<\/a> i en el qual aborda les sempre espinoses relacions de l&#8217;art amb &#8220;la realitat&#8221;.  <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">El text \u00e9s especialment punyent perqu\u00e8 se centra en l&#8217;exposici\u00f3 &#8220;retrospectiva&#8221; que els <a href=\"http:\/\/www.metamute.org\/en\/Mistaken-As-Red\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SPACE studios<\/a> van dedicar a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cspace.org.uk\/cspace\/profile\/profile.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Loraine Leeson<\/a> sota el t\u00edtol <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spacestudios.org.uk\/All_Content_Items\/Exhibitions_Archive\/Loraine_Leeson:_Art_for_Change\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Art for Change<\/a>. Loraine Leeson \u00e9s potser una de les figures m\u00e9s reputades del que alguns han anomenat <em>community<\/em> <em>based<\/em> <em>art<\/em>, <em>social<\/em> <em>art<\/em> o fins i tot <em>political<\/em> <em>art<\/em> (que \u00e9s el terme que utilitza Peter Suchin per descriure els seus treballs). Suchin assenyala com la manera en qu\u00e8 s&#8217;han gestionat q\u00fcestions referides a l&#8217;autoria i la difusi\u00f3 dels treballs de Leeson i els seus col\u00b7laboradors reafirma les jerarquies establertes d&#8217;experts i no experts, artistes i no artistes, &#8220;representadors&#8221; i representats, i perpetua la figura de l&#8217;artista com a &#8220;agent de la legitimaci\u00f3 burgesa&#8221;. Ens sembla que aquest \u00e9s un mal menor derivat del proc\u00e9s de muse\u00eftzaci\u00f3 d&#8217;aquest treball; potser seria \u00fanicament pertinent jutjar l&#8217;efic\u00e0cia d&#8217;aquelles intervencions en el moment i context social en qu\u00e8 es van donar.   <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">Ara b\u00e9, la cosa s&#8217;agreuja quan, com assenyala <strong>Carmen<\/strong> <strong>Morsh<\/strong> (<em>research consultant<\/em> del programa de mediaci\u00f3 art\u00edstica de la<\/p>\n<p>passada  <strong>Documenta<\/strong>) &#8220;<em>the potential of art as a means for education and social inclusion has become the most important criteria [sic] for public funding of a project \u2026 What was in the \u201890s still unique [i.e. Leeson\u2019s position as an avant-garde teacher] \u2026 now belongs more and more to the daily business of English art institutions, which today, can gain artists with an international reputation as collaborators for their educational projects<\/em>&#8220;. D&#8217;aquesta manera, assenyala Suchin, artistes\/educadors com Leeson ja no suposen una oposici\u00f3 als canals de l&#8217;educaci\u00f3 i la cultura oficial, sin\u00f3 que operen en l\u00ednia amb els models establerts d&#8217;introducci\u00f3 a l&#8217;alta cultura. Per rematar la jugada Suchin acaba el seu article amb aquesta demolidora cita de <strong>Demetra<\/strong> <strong>Kotouza<\/strong> extreta del seu article <em><br \/>\n  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.metamute.org\/en\/Lies-and-Mendicity\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lies and mendicity<\/a><br \/>\n<\/em>: &#8220;<em>Encouraging schoolchildren to make \u2018art\u2019 about their experience of disenfranchisement and exclusion is, intentionally or not, nothing less than the neutralising of dissent in advance of its potential manifestation&#8221;.<\/em>  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","categories":[],"class_list":["post-5262","noticia","type-noticia","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/lafundicio.net\/ca\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/noticia\/5262","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/lafundicio.net\/ca\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/noticia"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/lafundicio.net\/ca\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/noticia"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/lafundicio.net\/ca\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=5262"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/lafundicio.net\/ca\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=5262"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
