Between November 2019 and February 2020, a series of collective memory workshops entitled «My map of the neighbourhood» took place at the Castro Daire Municipal Library with former inhabitants of informal shantytowns in the civil parish of Marvila (Lisbon) who between the 50s and 80s left from villages in the municipality of Castro Daire to work in many of the factories and warehouses located in the eastern part of Lisbon.
This series of workshops was developed in partnership with the Castro Daire Municipal Library and is part of the «From the Mountain to the Factory» project integrated in the «Where the city loses its name» European network dedicated to creative actions on the memory and current status of European shantytowns which includes Binaural/Nodar (Portugal), LaFundició (project leader, L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Spain) and Fundatia Altart (Cluj, Romania).
This workshop series was based on a collective mapping methodology of informal neighborhoods created by LaFundició, having been adapted within the scope of the methodological sharing associated with the aforementioned Creative Europe project.

Entre novembro 2019 e fevereiro 2020, decorreram na Biblioteca Municipal de Castro Daire uma série ateliês de memória coletiva intitulados «O Meu Mapa do Bairro» com antigos habitantes de bairros informais da freguesia de Marvila (Lisboa) e que saíram, entre os anos 50 e 70, de aldeias do concelho de Castro Daire para trabalharem em muitas das fábricas e armazéns existentes na zona oriental de Lisboa.
Esta série de ateliês é desenvolvida em parceria com a Biblioteca Municipal de Castro Daire e faz parte do projeto «Da Serra para a Fábrica» integrado na rede europeia «Where the city loses its name» dedicada a ações criativas sobre a memória e atualidade de bairros informais europeus, que inclui a Binaural Nodar (Portugal), a LaFundició (chefe-de-fila, L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Espanha) e a Fundatia Altart (Cluj, Roménia).
Este ateliê baseou-se numa metodologia de mapeamento coletivo de bairros informais criada pela LaFundició, tendo sido adaptada no âmbito da partilha metodológica associada ao projeto Europa Criativa «Where the city loses its name».
