Between 23 and 26 October 2019, the international meeting «Beyond Formal Cities», part of «Where the City Loses its Name» Creative Europe project, took place in Castro Daire (Viseu Dão Lafões, Portugal). This meeting was hosted by Binaural/Nodar and the Municipal Library of Castro Daire, where several working sessions and the final conference took place, the latter with the participation of Mr. Pedro Pontes, cultural councilor of the Municipality of Castro Daire , partners LaFundició, Fundatia AltArt and Binaural/Nodar, and the unforgettable participation of Mr. Ilidio Magueja who brought some memories of his arrival in Lisbon with a huge suitcase.
A big thank you to the team at the Municipal Library ofCastro Daire, to the Castro Daire School Group and to all participants who shared their memories of emigration to the Marvila area in Lisbon.

Entre os dias 23 e 26 de outubro 2019, decorreu em Castro Daire o Encontro Internacional «Beyond Formal Cities» do projeto Europa Criativa «Where the City Loses its Name». Este encontro foi acolhido pela Binaural/Nodar e pela Biblioteca Municipal de Castro Daire, local onde decorreram as sessões de trabalho e a conferência final, esta última com a participação do Dr. Pedro Pontes, vereador com o pelouro da cultura do Município de Castro Daire, dos parceiros LaFundició, Fundatia AltArt e Binaural/Nodar, sem esquecer a participação inesquecível do senhor Ilidio Magueja que trouxe algumas lembranças da sua chegada a Lisboa com uma enorme mala de viagem.
Um agradecimento à equipa da Biblioteca Municipal de Castro Daire, ao Agrupamento de Escolas de Castro Daire e a todos os castrenses que partilharam as suas memórias de emigração para a zona de Marvila em Lisboa.
